System Platform License Administrator
We are looking for a skilled and motivated License Administrator to manage and develop our enterprise licensing services across multiple domains and business environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical license management services that support engineering, manufacturing, and business applications. You will work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, vendors, and end-users to ensure reliable and efficient license delivery across the organization.
We are looking for someone who not only maintains existing services but also actively identifies opportunities to automate processes, improve reliability, and enhance the overall license management platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and support enterprise license servers and license management platforms
- Administer licensing services across multiple Active Directory domains and environments
- Monitor license availability, utilization, and service health
- Troubleshoot licensing issues and coordinating with software vendors when required
- Manage and contribute with license renewals, allocations, and usage reporting
- Ensure high availability and operational stability of licensing services
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Develop and improve operational processes, procedures, and documentation
- Automate administrative tasks and service operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Participate in migration, consolidation, and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering enterprise software licensing environments or similar infrastructure services
- Strong understanding of Server environments and network architecture
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to quickly understand and work within established systems, processes, and procedures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in large IT environments
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with one or more of the following: FlexNet (FlexLM/FLEXnet)/Sentinel License Manager/Reprise License Manager (RLM)/Autodesk Licensing/Siemens Licensing /Dassault Systèmes Licensing/Other engineering software licensing platforms
- Additionally, experience with: PowerShell scripting and automation, REST APIs and service integrations , Monitoring and alerting solutions, Windows and Linux server administration, Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, ITIL-based service management practices
