Service Coordinator - Offshore Automation

Join our Global Customer Support (GCS) team in New Orleans as a Service Coordinator and help deliver world-class support for our Offshore Automation and Propulsion portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate field service resources across the Americas region in alignment with business needs and performance targets.
  • Ensure compliance with Kongsberg Maritime’s Quality Management System (QMS/HSE) and relevant procedures.
  • Manage customer communications and prioritize service requests effectively.
  • Support technical and operational issues within the GCS network.
  • Lead coordination efforts locally and contribute to regional & global support when needed.
  • Make decisions in complex resource prioritization scenarios.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and collaborate with global support teams.
  • Act as a liaison between Automation & Propulsion, commercial, and technical departments.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (written and oral);
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX) and CRM.
  • Experience with KM GCS processes and Automation product portfolio.
  • Strong organizational and screening skills.
  • Prior coordination or field service experience is highly desirable.
