Group Manager - Commissioning – Power Systems

Are you a structured and hands-on coordinator with an interest in technology and people? We are looking for a Group Manager – Commissioning who will combine operational planning with personnel responsibility for our commissioning engineers.
In this role, your focus will be to plan and coordinate commissioning resources across multiple projects, ensuring the right competence is available at the right time. At the same time, you will be responsible for supporting, developing, and following up a team of service engineers. You will work closely with project teams and engineers, playing a key role in ensuring efficient execution, strong collaboration, and high service quality across our operations.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will coordinate and lead commissioning activities across multiple projects, ensuring the right competence is available at the right time.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Plan and coordinating commissioning resources across multiple projects
- Develop and maintain commissioning schedules
- Allocate engineers based on competence, availability, and project needs
- Act as the link between project teams and commissioning engineers
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet project timelines
- Lead, support, and follow up a team of service engineers
- Ensure engineers maintain required competencies, certifications, and readiness
- Support engineers and customers during commissioning activities
- Identify resource gaps and resolve conflicts proactively
- Contribute to continuous improvement of service quality, HSE, and ways of working
We think you should have
To succeed in this role, we believe you combine technical understanding with strong planning and coordination skills. Ideally, you have:
- Experience from coordination, planning, commissioning, or service operations
- Technical understanding or interest in electrical systems such as drives, switchboards, or energy storage
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Experience working with scheduling tools and ERP/CRM systems
- The ability to balance operational priorities with available resources
