As the leader of our Security & Crisis Management team you will play a crucial role in driving our security efforts and delivering reliable solutions to our global operations.

As the Director Security & Crisis Management in Kongsberg Maritime, you have the competence, motivation, and leadership to transform our security goals into actionable strategies that make a difference. You will effectively assess, strategize and communicate plans and initiatives to our organisation, fostering successfully implemented security strategies on a global scale.
Your key accountabilities include:
- Be Kongsberg Maritime’s main point of contact in Security related issues
- Own KM’s Security strategy, set targets and core focus within the area in line with KM direction and external factors
- Provide relevant security briefings to KM Leadership team both regularly and in case of actual incidents
- Ensure professional and updated threat assessments and plans for crisis management
- Ensure KM operates within relevant laws and regulation
- Responsible for KM’s global Security & Crisis Management team
- Report to SVP Naval Systems and the CEO at Kongsberg Maritime
Qualifications and experience for the role
- Relevant higher education at master or bachelor level within relevant fields
- Broad experience from one or more areas like physical security, personnel security, crisis management, cyber security
- Experience from and knowledge of risk governance
- Relevant leadership experience both strategic and operational
- Background from either military or police is preferred
- Fluent in English, written and verbally, and excellent communication skills
- Experience from larger and complex organizations is beneficial, in addition to relevant network within the field
- International experience is beneficial
This employment will require a pre-employment check procedure in accordance with company security standards, role or site requirements. In addition, a security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority will be required. The successful candidate may start to work with limited access whilst the clearance is being processed. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment
