Business Development Trainee

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Trainee to join our team at Kongsberg Maritime Turku for the summer 2026. In this role, you will support the business development activities of our R&A business and contribute to shaping future data-driven services and customer experiences. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support and contribute to our business development activities  

  • Being involved in building and further developing business cases 

  • Analyze business opportunities including identifying potential use cases and evaluating their value. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Studies in business, engineering, service design, or a related field.  

  • Interest and experience in business development, service design, customer experience, or data-driven services are seen as advantageous 

  • Experience or interest in applying AI in the business development work 

  • Interest and experience in innovative technology and the maritime sector. 

  • Fluent knowledge of English in both written and spoken form. 

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative. 

  • Proactive attitude, good communication skills, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
