Aftermarket Sales Manager - Propeller

Due to an internal move, we are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Aftermarket Sales Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer activities towards the Propeller division, driving upgrades, retrofit, and refit projects with a focus on Energy Saving Products. You will play a crucial role in delivering customer satisfaction and driving business growth by identifying commercial opportunities and promoting plans and ideas successfully. Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage day-to-day customer activities within the Propeller division, drive upgrades, retrofit, and refit projects, and identify commercial opportunities to positively impact business growth and profitability. You will make an impact by convincing and persuading others, promoting plans and ideas successfully. Using a methodical and systematic approach, you will plan ahead, define clear priorities, and allocate your resources effectively. You will analyse complex issues and problems, making rational judgments, and demonstrate specialist knowledge and expertise in your area.

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales and customer relationship management, including a strong track record of successfully closing complex deals. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent work experience—particularly within the maritime industry—will also be considered. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
You should demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities and be comfortable using CRM systems and other sales-related tools. Experience with or an interest in hydrodynamic principles within the marine industry is advantageous. A proactive, results-driven mindset is key, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine interest in building profitable business relationships.
The role requires the ability to develop and maintain a global network of customer contacts, supported by fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are considered an asset. A willingness to travel as required is also necessary.
