Longliner designs
Our NVC design range of fishing vessels is developed to optimise fuel consumption, fish handling, and working conditions at sea. Safe working conditions are guaranteed on an optimal freeboard, and modern fish handling solutions are included in the designs.
Our family of longliners are all designed for safe, environmentally friendly, reliable and economical fishing in harsh waters.
The longliner vessels may be fitted with different propulsion systems: single‐screw, twin-screw, and azimuthing thruster in foreship. Depending on the operational profile of the vessel, we design the optimal propulsion system for each specific vessel and fishing operation, in close cooperation with owners.
