Thruster retrofitting on Scandlines's Schleswig Holstein

Contra-rotating thruster propulsion retrofitted with four Azipull 120 thrusters, optimised headbox, and​ installation design

Retrofitting the quadruple azimuth thruster propulsion on the ferry with Azipull 120 fixed-pitch units resulted in significant power savings, reaching between 17 and 19 percent in the 12-19 knots speed range.
