Built on high‑fidelity physics, real vessel data, and proven pedagogical models, it helps trainees develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for safe, efficient and compliant cargo and ballast handling operations.
The simulator exceeds IMO STCW regulation I/12 and meets the DNV‑ST‑0033 standard for Maritime Simulator Systems, ensuring industry‑aligned and certification‑ready training.

Flexible configurations to fit every training need

The K-Sim Cargo models are extremely flexible. To fit your exact requirements, the simulators can be configured for a desktop computer or an operational full mission simulator using custom panels and ship equipment for the ultimate familiarization.

  • Cloud based - Class D

    K-Sim Cargo - cloud-based simulation solutionAll K-Sim Cargo models can be delivered as a cloud-based training solutions through the K-Sim Connect portal. This is an online/eLearning solution compliant with DNV’s Class D certification. It enables students to carry out simulation training anytime and anywhere.

  • Desktop - Class C

    K-Sim Cargo desktop solution

    The desktop solution fulfills DNV’s Class C requirements and is ideal for basic cargo handling training in a class room set up. The system typically includes 1-25 student stations and 1-2 instructor stations to efficiently create and manage the simulation exercise.

  • Full mission - Class A

    K-Sim Cargo - full mission solutionThe full mission system is compliant with DNV’s Class A certification. It offers a physical familiarity with the real shipboard environment, and includes a cargo control room, cargo handling room and an instructor room. Several models can be delivered with a 3D BigView system.
