Senior Sales Manager Digital

Kongsberg Maritime’s Digital Ocean division is at the forefront of the maritime industry’s digital transformation—connecting vessels, operations, and people through intelligent, data-driven solutions. As our customers continue their digital journey, we are strengthening our commercial organization and are looking for a Senior Sales Manager Digital to support growth and long-term customer value within the LNG segment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strong maritime domain knowledge with innovative digital solutions, working closely with customers and internal teams to create measurable value, efficiency, and sustainability across LNG fleets.

Your role

As Senior Sales Manager, you will contribute to the continued adoption of Digital Ocean solutions in the LNG market. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales colleagues, and product teams to understand operational needs and translate them into well-adapted digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to sales and business development of Digital Ocean and other digital solutions within the LNG segment
  • Serve as a key contact and digital focal point for LNG customers within the Digital Ocean sales team
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with LNG operators and commercial stakeholders
  • Develop customer-specific sales approaches and support customers throughout their digital transformation journey
  • Prepare quotations and participate in commercial dialogues related to digital solutions and value creation
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and delivery organizations
  • Travel internationally as required

What we are looking for

  • University or technical college degree in Engineering, Business, or IT
    (Relevant experience may compensate for formal education)
  • Experience with Kongsberg Maritime’s core control systems is an advantage        
  • Relevant experience from the maritime gas/LNG industry is an advantage
  • Commercial understanding combined with a strong customer orientation
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken
