Energy Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will support some of the most innovative energy systems installed onboard vessels, including High Voltage power distribution, shore connection solutions, energy management systems, and hybrid electrical architectures.
This role combines technical expertise, international travel, customer interaction, and continuous learning in a fast-growing area of the maritime sector.
Responsabilities
- Provide technical support to customers worldwide, both remotely and on-site.
- Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and energy systems.
- Diagnose technical issues and deliver effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with international stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Support High Voltage electrical systems and energy solutions throughout their lifecycle.
- Contribute to commissioning, warranty, and operational support activities onboard vessels.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working with High Voltage systems (1,000V AC and/or 1,500V DC).
- Experience with electrical power distribution, switchboards, transformers, converters, drives, protection systems, generators, or energy management systems is highly desirable.
- English level B2 or higher
- Availability to travel approximately 130-150 non-consecutive days per year worldwide.
- Residence in Alicante province or willingness to relocate.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety when working with High Voltage equipment and electrical power systems.
- Remain calm and solution-oriented when troubleshooting critical operational issues onboard customer vessels.
- Show flexibility and adaptability when working internationally and responding to customer needs.
